The Biorhythm of Ukraine is still at risk
2023 ARS ELECTRONICA STATE OF THE ART(IST)
We are all connected, like interlinked cells in a living organism, and everything we do has its healing or damaging effect on every other thing. As the rhythms are placed on one planet Earth, we create the one single rhythm of everything -- the Biorhythm. The ongoing war is a product of evil, hatred, and stagnation, and these are not the only present risks for Ukraine.
The video work is based on the concept of a remix. Nowadays, everything that humans produce is perceived as a remix. We present a compilation of what we, as a community of artists, fight for and show the risks that our enemies pose. With the ongoing war, the stakes have risen.
The Biorhythm Remix displays our fight for the truth, justice, and life against the consequences of evil, hatred, and stagnation.
The ongoing war in our country has had a significant impact on the political and social context of our situation. It has disrupted our daily lives, forced us to confront the fragility of our existence, and highlighted the urgent need for collective action to address the issues that threaten our planet. Yet, it has not disrupted our desire to preserve wildlife and raise awareness about the environmental and social issues our world faces today, including our carbon footprint, unsustainability, and the general population’s disconnection from the global biorhythm.
Despite these challenges, we remain committed to our artistic vision and believe that our work can make a meaningful contribution to the wider dialogue about the environment and sustainability.

2022 ARS ELECTRONICA STATE OF THE ART(IST) - SHORTLIST
In 2020, before the war began, we discovered this place on the way to a church where one of the Biorhythm members would occasionally visit.
For the world, let this serve as a reminder of the urgent need to revitalize our planet. If we don’t defeat evil, unite, and shift from destruction to preservation, the risk remains imminent.
This work was screened at the LIRA cinema in Kyiv, Ukraine.
